Opening a product is one of the first engagements that a consumer has with a product. Choosing the right materials is important from an aesthetic perspective. There are also safety concerns and utilitarian dispensing considerations to be weighed carefully. Closures play an important role in the overall presentation of your product.
 

Aside from the obvious answer: to keep things from spilling all over the place, there are a myriad of considerations based on style and function. The contents of food, chemicals and other consumer products can react with materials in different ways. You’ll want to be sure to choose the right materials for safety and think about how consumers will interact with your product. Does the product need to be dispensed? Should it be sprayed, pumped or delivered in a dropper? In addition to the closures themselves, you may want to consider a certain type of liner or seal disc for added safety and to prevent “I need a cleanup on aisle 10.” Closures are one more way to customize your product for style or function.
